Silk-like texture
The black dye is a natural pigment derived from iron rust while the red is derived from the alum stone. The colours oxidise over the course of 20 days before they're washed in the Baghini river. This piece was made in collaboration with the wood-block printing community at Bagh, MP. Learn more about our collaboration here.
